| Iron Maiden – Face In The Sand Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Man, it would be great if Serj Tankian or System of a Down cover this... | |
| The Beatles – Blackbird Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this song says to me one thing: "GET UP AND GO, YOU CAN DO IT!" | |
| Serj Tankian – Saving Us Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
... And this is why I love music. A song can have so much meanings... And all of them are real. How much meanings a song will have depends of the ability of the writer. A song of Serj has many, while a hip-hop song has one. I really like deep lyrics, or with multiple meanings, and this is why Elect the Dead is one of my favorite albums. |

| System of a Down – Lonely Day Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This song leads to Soldier Side like the intro... But if there is an order between them? something like: Lonely Day > Soldier Side (intro) > Soldier Side? Look, LD is about someone who get lonely (a family of a soldier, maybe?), then Both "Soldier Sides" completes each other. And in Soldier Side they speak about the families of soldiers. (they were crying when their sons left...) |

| Iron Maiden – Journeyman Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Sorry people, but i just found another possible meaning: From the red sky of the east To the sunset in the west We have cheated death And he has cheated us = First of all, this song is about a traveler. He made his journey always avoiding death, but he finds out that is impossible. But that was just a dream And this is what it means We are sleeping And we'll dream for evermore =He figure that he hasn't avoided death that much, and he thinks that everything is a dream. And the fragment remains of our memories And the shadows remain with our hands Deep grey, came to mourn All the colours of the dawn Will this journeyman's day be his last? =He think about his past and every bad things he has done. The "deeper grey" part is probably about a mist that hides the beauty of the morning, or, metaphorically, the good side of the people. He thinks that his journey will end. I know what I want And I say what I want And no one can take it away I know what I want And I say what I want And no one can take it away =He will continue his journey, no matter what. But the memory still remains All the past years not so stange Our winter times are like a silent shroud =All that the Journeyman had left behind is not so distant. Or he is speaking to someone that is part of his past, saying that he did not forgot. And the heartbeat of the day Drives the mist away And winter's not the only dream around =His past wasn't good, and is "fading like an old dream". Also, the mist makes it part again in this point. In your life you may choose desolation And the shadows you build with your hands If you turn to the light That is burning in the night Then the journeyman's day has begun =Now he's trying to convince the other person to free himself and search for a type of "illumination", and to become a journeyman too. Journeyman's day will never end |

| Iron Maiden – New Frontier Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Nicko is catholic, thats why the song makes references to the religion and has a more religious point of view. Maybe Nicko got angry because the track right before this one (Gates Of Tomorrow) is a great critic against religion, and he decided to write this song? Just a theory that a friend said. Makes a little bit of sense. | |
| Joe Satriani – Always with Me, Always with You Lyrics | 17 years ago |

What a wonderful song... Instrumental songs don't have meanings to me. They are to pass feelings. This one gives a sort of peace... Make me remember of some people... Just like the song title. |

| Iron Maiden – Rainmaker Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"And I know of the pain that you feel the same as me And I dream of the rain as it falls upon the leaves And the cracks in our lives like the cracks upon the ground They are sealed and are now washed away You tell me we can start the rain You tell me that we all can change You tell me we can find something to wash the tears away You tell me we can start the rain You tell me that we all can change You tell me we can find something to wash the tears..... " Sounds VERY romantic. Maybe it is about a pair of lovers that have broken up their relationship, and they want to fix it... There is the metaphor of rain that [harlz] said. My theory makes sense, after all. |

| Iron Maiden – No More Lies Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think that is about a man that haven't done what he wished for life, and he wants to resurrect after his death. But he knows he can't, and there is th "No More Lies". It looks like an atheist song. | |
| Iron Maiden – Wildest Dreams Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| It is about being FREE. Take your own way, do what you want... Sounds punk, but is a great song. Perfect for traveling. | |
| The Doors – The End Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The name sounds self-explicative. This is a WONDERFUL song. Jim Morrison shall never be forgotten! Everybody saves the Lizard King! | |
| The Doors – The Celebration Of The Lizard Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| In the beginning of the live version Jim says that is about young people that had a group and went out in desert, and every night they made a fire and discuss philosophy, and sing songs. | |
| Iron Maiden – The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Benjamin Breeg is Eddie. Just a theory. | |
| Iron Maiden – Journeyman Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Great song... Bruce said it's about a musician, but it not seems to me. It's more about getting yourself free, make your decisions and your own destiny. Just a wonderful song. | |
