Liam probably claims to have written it in 10 minutes because he is a little embarrassed that its simple, but its designed to be that. It is written for a child. If you stop for a second, close your eyes and believe you are that child, listen to it from that perspective and it becomes touching and sorrowful as we ask ourselves: "Why won't it be long before everyone is gone?". After all we are suddenly 10 year old children trying to grasp the concept of mortality, something that even in adulthood we never really accept. Liam is probably not the brightest thinker, this can be proven by many of his interviews and his style of song writing sometimes, unlike his older brother but they are both extremely talented in their own way and I respect him for being himself as much as he can. Love you Oasis, keep singing from the heart. |

Yeah its my favourite on the album too :) I think its very cute, to admit to that sort of infatuation is quite pathetic and respectable at the same time if you know what I mean... I think the wombats sing about all the crazy things we can go through as young adults of this generation, and a lad of 20 myself I can really appreciate a bit of fun reality in their lyrics. Really liking the wombats at the moment. |
