Although this song has been covered several times and has been discussed relentlessly, it is quite refreshing to discuss new meaning. For me, this song is about loving somebody so much, you are prepared to do anything for them and protect them ... even if it means sacrificing everything. The last line is about letting them know how much you love them. |

When I first heard this song I just thought it was a catchy tune, but having listened to it over and over I have to agree that it is most definately a song about the most awkward kind of love ... the kind where you dont know how to approach the person you have fallen for. I think the key point is as melodramatic as life is, it is not always as easy or as happy as at the end of most rom-com's. |
