| how about....Jason just finds some similarity with New York and Australia (Brooklyn and Adelaide) both happens to be where he's passed by before? Or that he reluctantly leaves his girl in NY while he travels to Down Under... | |

"Flax seeds, well they tear me open And supposedly you can crawl right through me Taste these teeth please And undress me from these sweaters better hurry 'Cause I'm keeping upward bound now Oh maybe I'll build my house in your cloud Here I'm tumbling for you Stumbling through the work that I have to do Don’t mean to harm you" SEX-xy. It reminds me of traveling businessmen where everytime they come to their wives after being abroad, the conceive the next child, and the next one, and the next... |

| Jason Mraz – All Dialed In Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| It's about how everyone in the world is connected-whether through 6 degrees or through thoughts. Maybe cuz Jason's such a busy traveling musician that makes these lyrics are the more profound and poignant for him. I LOVE this song by the way. | |
| Jason Mraz – Childlike Wildlife Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| ^what pbech says is correct, however, my orignal Romantic notion about this song was that Jason was having this wild, passionate fling with this 'bad girl'. I'd still like think of it as that. | |
| Jason Mraz – The Right Kind of Phrase Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
he was gambling in a casino- the 25th of April to be more exact, and was on a winning streak. And sitting beside him just happened to be this bride-to-be having her hen night with some girlfriends, whom Jason thinks looks gorgeous (as all brides-to-be) are and whom he thinks is his lucky charm. Of course, he can't hit on her. So he writes a song about it instead :) |

Well, I always thought it was such a fun flirty song that Jason had with his partner. Turns out, he just mentioned in an interview for the first time that it's about cigarettes and his struggle with quitting smoking, "Red top and matching bottoms. You know the ones, the ones you got on, Pull them over your skinny self But don't cover your tattoo." ^It's supposed to be referring to the packaging and branding of Marlboros i think. |
