Bloc Party – Skeleton Lyrics 17 years ago
I think it's about some one who has lived his life according to what people wanted him to be. "And I've been consistent to the fucking dream" I think this shows that he's lived his life to a dream that he didn't agree with, similar interpretation for the "All my thoughts are all lies" and "All my bones are so tired". "It makes a man out of me, You take the fun out of me" shows that although what he has done has made a "man" out of him, he does not like it. "And I've paid my dues, just to get them all back" shows that he put himself through pain trying to improve himself, only to get more pain in return. The whole "what should I have said" verse is just him reflecting on how he screwed up his life. The "I'm just a skeleton" part is him saying he is not a complete human, he;s just a shell who is dead inside.
It could possibly be all related to an eating disorder, it would fit with the lyrics and it would make the "I'm just a skeleton" part a little more literal.

Bloc Party – Blue Light Lyrics 17 years ago
I think the song is about a break up "just tell me it's tearing you up" is the guy wondering if she feels as bad about this too, he is wondering if she really loved him.
the "you can find it hiding in shadows" could mean that the guy is warning the girl that she will be reminded of their love everywhere, like he has, "in cupboards", and how the memory of their love will comfort her "walk you home safe every night"
Kele said the song was about realizing the importance of intimacy, whether that is pre or post breakup I don't know
but I think the song is about a love that didn't work, but at least the guy wanted it to.

Bloc Party – I Still Remember Lyrics 17 years ago
Kele said the idea of the song was to straight guys being attracted OR there being an attraction that is unspeakable, so both gay and straight interpretations of the song are valid.
To me, it's what I fear I will be like in 5 years, not going for love now and having missed an opportunity
fantastic song though

Bloc Party – Like Eating Glass Lyrics 17 years ago
I've seen quotes from Kele and he says it's about relationships falling apart and the pain it causes. when you break up with someone you really care about, the pain you feel is like eating glass or like drinking poison. most of the lyrics are obviously about a breakup, "and it hurts all the time when you don't return my calls", etc.
the line "and you haven't got the time to remember how it was" I think means that the couple used to have fun together and it was a meaningful relationship, but it's lost the magic to at least one of them.
as for the "we've got crosses on our eyes", I think it's talking about how they feel dead inside after the breakup and that "we're walking into the furniture" means that they can't even walk straight cause they are hurt so much by the breakup
i think that the line "an aversion to light/a fear of the ocean" means that without the other person, they feel scared of things (i.e. the ocean, light) and that they felt safer with the other person.
