i'm pretty sure it goes: "i had ONE friend in high school" (not that that matters much) & "our poor friend Jim, well he just LIVED WITHIN the slow fade of love." because if he lived without it, he wouldn't feel it's pain. and based on everything else in the song, it's clear he does. |

okay, i'll go with there are 8. the "you love me, you like her" is one thing. & ashtonisallmine said "she completely contradicts herself in this song. 'You're vain, you're insecure?' how can you be vain and insecure?" someone can be self centered by using that as a defense to hide their insecurity. or something like that. just, trust me, it's possible. i've met a few. |

why are people so uptight about the music other people listen too? it's just music. it's how people vent, so it doesn't matter who it comes from, as long as it helps someone. even if she didn't write it, who cares? some people like it. no reason to be angry. anyway, i love this song. wasn't a big miley fan, (can't stand the show. it's a good idea, & good for kids i guess, i just don't like it.) but i've been listening to her more & more. this song reminds me of avril lavigne's "everything back but you." |

the thing about weezer is that their songs are usually deeply blatant. that's something that makes them so awesome. i can listen to them no matter what mood i'm in - it's always a good time for some weezer. but regardless of the lyrics, i love the melody of this song. and i love that they can put lyrics like: "I see you come here, drinkin' that cheap beer" to a song with such a pretty sound. |
