I agree with TearsforAffairs regarding Sarah and Isobel. As much as I love Isobel her leaving the and was definatly of benefit to their music as far as I am concerned as it unleashed Sarah's talents which tended to get overlooked before "Waitress" was released. She has a wonderfully soft yet slightly husky tone. This song has always struck me as being a love song about a couple wanting to be with each other but one of the couple is involved with someone else. Or maybe im reading to much into it and it really is just about tents and stuff! |

Stuart Murdoch is the only overly religious member of the band. The rest of them have not really disclosed their beliefs in the past. Judging by a few of the Q & A sessions on their website some band members have no real beliefs either way. Stuart has said before that this is his only song to deal with faith in any real way though. |
