| I've heard a lot of people complain about that part of the song actually. But all personal views aside, I think targeting that line kind of misses the point of the song. From my view, Lupe is trying to tell us to speak our minds about the world and our own personal views so we can learn from each other. Calling someone a nutcase is what we don't want to do. Instead, we want to talk about it, give our own opinions and facts on why it is true or false, not just dismiss any theories immediately. | |

There is so much social and political commentary in this song. Lupe talks about the corruption within the world and how we all see it, yet we none of us speak out against it. We are all drones controlled by the media, having them push less important thoughts into our brains such as the problems you see on the show "Jersey Shore" instead of looking at the real issues of the world. "A rebel in your thoughts aint gon make it halt If you don't become an actor you'll never be a factor Pills with million side effects, Take em when the pains felt" Here I think he is talking about a individual actually realizing the problems in the world. And instead of speaking out, they feel like they are going crazy for being upset about it, so they see a doctor who loads them up with pills. "We scared of almost everything, afraid to even tell the truth So scared of what you think of me, I'm scared of even telling you Sometimes I'm like the only person I feel safe to tell it to I'm locked inside a cell in me, I know that there's a jail in you Consider this your bailing out, so take a breath, inhale a few" I think Lupe is trying to tell everyone that they should speak out against all of the corrupt bull shit in the world, especially the United States, and to not be afraid to do so because everyone else is thinking it too. He says this is our bailing out, he is starting to speak what is on his mind so now it's our turn. Great song. |

| T.I. – No Matter What Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This is what makes T.I. the best.. he doesn't care... he says what he feels and he is so good that it turns into one of the greatest rap songs ever made. None of those other cheap ass rappers has anything on him, he can rap about real shit and still make a real song. The song is also really inspirational to me because it shows you can overcome anything you want to as long as you focus on it... you can overcome anything, as he clearly states in this song. | |
