Maybe that pring rain is the feeling of being close to someone you once loved, and to take the taxi and be with her/him despite of that awkwardness... And while she asks herself why does he seem sad, he is actually trying to remember their relationship, the good and the bad things, the things that made them be toghether. About the part when Amy sings, i'm not really sure about what that may mean, so i'll not talk about it. And from the "live throught this" until the end of the song, i think that it's pretty litteral. |

I think in this song Ariel realizes that religions and dogmas just makes differences between societies, so he has to follow his own beliefs, to do what he thinks he should do. And that's where he realizes that his own goal in life is to love. Not to follow other's people beliefs, just to love: "Love is the only truth Pure as the well of youth (...) You took me higher Than the mountains I have climbed You waited all your life for me" So, what i think is that he realized that his own goal is to live for his own love. |
