corrections: in the chorus, just like "kaityangst" said... it's "sleeps just time spent wasting time" also it's "so get down now get down"... it's "now" instead of "or" also it's "yeah, i can taste her"... "her" instead of "it" the lyrics posted are actually the demo version to this song. the part "reach out and touch somebody" is actually not on the LP version. well to me this song is absolutely about sex, i'll break down verse by verse. "you count 'em one, two, three, you look so cute when you get that mad" possibly he did something wrong and now she's all mad and it turns him on lol then the next line, "you drain the life from me and it feels oh, so good"..... when they "do it" lol you know it exhausts him but it's all pleasure... the hook could possibly be where they're at a party/club or something and she keeps giving him "looks" in which to him are contagious and the way they "dance" to him, is so outrageous and he knows what he wants, possibly also what she wants so he states "just let me in, we're wasting time" the chorus explains possibly how they left to go back to his/her place and maybe she's tired and wants to go to sleep but he tries to explain "sleeps just time spent wasting time", "so get down now get down, let's make it happen all night" is very self explanatory lol the second verse to me is where they start to initiate the process lol the lyrics are just so there, easy to understand great song to me personally, gotta' love the meaning =] |

| personally i think Jag is amazing and i love A Skylit Drive with him in the band. i have absolutely nothing against Jonny because he's also amazing but i think ASD is better off with Jag, his vocal range is beyond this world and he just simply sounds great with the band | |

in my opinion, this song resembles possibly a couple who have been fighting and fighting through their time together and it just seems like nothing works {"this is a war we cannot win!"} but they can't give up because of the love they found so they want to continue to try "this time we fight side by side, you and i" there's a good chance that i'm wrong though...... lol great song though, great album.... i'm just very surprised that there is only one comment besides mine on this song..... it's amazing favorite line..... "daylight fights through the night with the cries of redemption"..... i actually saw this and thought it was wrong and that it was actually "price of redemption" but who knows...... |
