I like how the father is as oblivious to his daughter's passions as he is to all of what is wrong in the world. If he had the ability & desire, if he would really just see his daughter, he would see what moves her. It's not necessarily a boy. It could be interpreted as something darker, or more than just that - everything she cares for in life. As the one poster said, the order of the songs is absolutely deliberate. What a wonderful lead in to Power Out. |
