Matchbook Romance – Lovers & Liars Lyrics 17 years ago
wow. it reminds me of someone i know, but never got to see because we already live so far away and i'm only going to be moving further. we really liked each other, and i really tried not to get too attached, but apparently he did. and i said i was sorry, but it's not a good time for me. he's an amazing guy and i still really wanted to be friends. after i told him that, he acted fine for about a week and i was happy he took it so well. then, he just stopped talking to me. it really makes me wonder why?

i love this song because of how i've been able to relate to it all through all of this. the artist sounds very confused, so am i!

The Spill Canvas – All Hail The Heartbreaker Lyrics 17 years ago
This is my favorite song. Not just my favorite song by The Spill Canvas, my favorite song, period. Every aspect about the song is perfect. Even the word, "poetry" doesn't even sound good enough to use for describing this song. It's better than any poetry I've ever read. I love this song, and this band. I can't imagine how sad I would get if they ever decided to sell out and turned into a "mainstream" band. I'm not even going to try and imagine that.

The Spill Canvas – Sunsets And Car Crashes Lyrics 17 years ago
No one can say what the artist was really talking about unless they've actually had a personal conversation with him.
To me, it sounds like he wrote the song about someone who meant a lot to him(obviously), but ended up dying in a car crash, hence the title of the song.
and if he wrote this song, then he's obviously not dead. =P
nothing in the lyrics even hint of him dying.

"And I collapsed to the grass with the notes ringing in my head
Let the rain form a mouth and in a couple hours I'll be dead
But all the while my lips are whistling our tune"
It sounds like he's just referring to wanting to die if he should ever have to live without her. Which, apparently now he has to, or whoever he wrote the song for has to, but he's obviously still alive, or else it could have never been written.
