| The Sounds – Home Is Where Your Heart Is Lyrics | 16 years ago |

"There was a time I couldn't see myself growing older But then I went for a walk when I came back I was so much taller" i glad i know i'm not the only one who likes to take walks! i love how dying to say this to you was an album of oppressed emotion (sad, mad, or happy emotion). and then with this album in general it's like "ok, this happened- i'm going to live and grow up about it." "Start to feel, and then you'll heal You got to rise to the occasion, you got to read between the lines" i was listening to this song during class today (we really weren't doing anything), and i was thinking of how much the other people were missing out on from NOT listening to the sounds. |

yeah, thats what i got out of it. but i was confused by the bring your bible, prying part, and abnormal life. and falling on your knees, to pray? to say sorry? anyway, i really like the "i'm looking at a picture of someone he had become." so maybe he's a decent, nice guy or he has changed for the good- but maybe theyre not supposed to be together for some reason. to be REALLY crazy the song reminded me of the scarlet letter and edith piaf. like its a forbidden love, but theyre going to go through it anyway. |

| The Clash – Inoculated City Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i think the toilet part makes it even better. inaculated means implant with ideas, so theyre spreading ignorance everywhere-about war, problems, and stuff. so instead of caring about war, they care about their clean toilets. | |

The mistakes are bothersome! I finally grasped the meaning (to me) when I saw them the day after Easter, and declared this one of my top five favorite songs ever so far. It's about the joy and ecstacy you get in the morning-which was exactly what I felt that morning. You're just looking at the morning around you not caring about the past-the night before. Whether you had a good time or not. Hence, they can't kiss because they are smiling. Nothing matters because you are in a new day...at the edge of a new beginning. Could this be begin? |

| Bob Dylan – Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I can see how everyone thinks its about drugs. About the bible I'm not so sure about it-I don't see it, but I think it's cool that other people do. I thought of it as women messing up guys: making fun, pissing them off, or even gaining control over them-while the guys are trying to do something else. And at the end of the day they just dont stop. -stoned: under the influence of liquor, drugs, etc. Dudes (or anyone), can women be considered drugs if they get the other person hooked? The 12 and 35 could be any random numbers, the street Dylan was on, the womens favorite numbers, the time. I thought the age of pms'ing thing was interesting (ages 12-35), even though its more than 35. And im sure some women get annoying. Just think-a cranky pms'ed lady drenched and wet. |
