The name '30 Seconds to Mars' really has no correlation(sp) to space. It came from a book in which the author wrote, "We are all 30 seconds to mars.". Meaning what? We are all out there? And to further more conjour into the thoughts of the album, the songs have NOTHING to do with space. Jared once said that the words he used seemed to be the best to describe what he was feeling, but also best to keep it secretive. And yes, Jared Leto was born on December 26th, which MIGHT have something to do with the song, Capricorn (A Brand New Name). But also might have something to do with the fact that it's so close to the new year, maybe he's waiting to start anew the next year? Oblivion and Buddha For Mary are pretty much the best songs..EVER. Kthnxbai. |
