I have tried to decipher this song and i came up with 2 possibilities. A) Yoni was in jail or prison and joined Aryan brotherhood "hiding under the mustache" is one reference, the other "those last 10 years hauling a paper moon" paper in this kind of slang refers to probation B) feels fortunate for being the bad ass he is for having wealthy relatives that prevented him from going to prison. on the demo, there are two a few whispered parts "this goes out to all my punch drunk, trust fund ....gutter punks" and "shut up and put your money where your mouth is" yoni probably does come for a well off upper %age tax brackett family i mean lets face it he is a true music connousieur , and has been to many places nationally or worldwide, on other songs, his ability to paint the listenner on how he had chosen to live a certain way translates to this running fast paced enthralling day to day encounters. he mightve been involved with an organized crime group |

this song has direct references to a gun even though it seems like he is talking about a lover, if you listen closely you will hear at the end several sprays of a gun "are you a female young messiah" clearly gives it away by itself, if you didnt catch it then you were given a subtle chance to interpret it with "stowaways and dugouts" if you still didnt catch it, then maybe you havent experienced the true aura of this type of scenario this is one of my favorites i cannot get over how bright this guy is and the vocals he hits with the overall carefully crafted melody if you are one of those sadistic self pitty listenners who gets off on all the low self esteem bullshit, this is not what why? is about please stop posting words like depressed or unfortunate, yoni is trully a big swinging winner like me |
