this song is pretty basic enough.. brandon is trying to say that we should live life to the fullest and be the best that we can be because we don't know what is going to happen next. in the video there is alot of focus put on the girls watch and at 10.24 everything disappears including the band.. this is because they believe the world will end in 2012 (gonna stick around till 2012 ad) at 10.24 pm. |

hah, this song describes me perfectly! to me it's brandon showing his insecurities when it comes to a relationship, he's not sure whether or not to let himself just be himself and be loved because maybe he thinks he doesn't deserve it?! i also have to say that Ben Kenney is a genius, possibly my favourite bassist of all time. the timing he has on this track is superb! |

i've only been listening to this band since october, but since the firt time i heard them (nice to know you was the first song i heard, that was on October 7th) i have been obsessed and to be honest even that is an understatement.. anyway, the meaning of this song is obvious: actions speak louder than words. i do think it is about a deep even spiritual connection between two people. i lost my virginity to this song, so forgive me but i will always think this song has a sexual meaning! |

i think the meaning of this song is about being in a relationship where you give and get nothing in return. i can only relate it to a personal experience. I helped a guy to get his life back on track and even though we were in love, I couldn't help but feel stifled. |
