Sea Wolf – O Maria! Lyrics 14 years ago
Simple song but terribly good. Yeah, I'm with you angrypuppy, he leaves the story hangin because don't we all have the same deaf ears when we've found someone who might not be of "our kind?"

I too think of Death of a Salesman. Has anyone seen the movie Synecdoche New York? Crazy movie but I think of that too.

A hard line to tackle seems to be the first one- "separate the wall". Hear this (and if you know more please correct me):

In the Qur'an it is said that two peoples, Gog and Magog (these names are all over the place in both the old and new testament as well as the Qur'an) are causing havoc and pillaging villages (after Satan coerces them into doing this) and so those villages ask Dhul-Qarnayn to protect them in return for offerings. Dhul-Qarnayn refuses the offerings but builds a wall around both Gog and Magog to protect the suffering villages because it is the will of the Lord. Dhul-Qarnayn warns, however, that Gog and Magog will break through the barrier- when this time comes it is a sign that the End is upon us (Qur'an 21:96-97). So the first line is an introduction to the end of the earth-and the best song off this album.

Also, I think those two lines about believing are alluding to Satan. Read them like the subject is Satan and see if it makes sense, after all, I see both Satan and us humans as "mindless. hateful." beings (as described in the first verse about how we treated the planet).

I think the real hard part, however, is deciphering the last two verses of this song. Can anyone help?
