i agree with tordajav
i think this is about a woman who loves her man so much that she has nowhere else to go but to follow him. she has nothing to lose, everything to gain. she's there. waiting, following him. never giving up. she is dressed in black because she's rejected and heartbroken. he's running for his freedom, for fear of commitment. the cold, rough weather represents hard moments in life. when he gets exhausted of running he stops, breaks down and cries.. kisses her back because she's never faltered.

you're so right! they are sampling the exact music from both songs. i really hope they give the killers and yyy's credit for that..
the music sucked me into this song.. and now i see why, they tried to reproduce what the indie greats put out. and they did a good job with this song but it still feels really weird for me to hear something like this come out of the black eyed peas. it isn't their style..
and as for the msg of the song.. i agree with shelly. simply put, one partner has made all the effort they can make.. the other one has to follow through in order for the relationship to progress. |
