First off, I cannot get enough of this song. It's amazing. I've loved it since I was little bitty:P It always seems to make me cry. Also, I'm sure my interpretation isn't the actual meaning behind the song, but I'm just saying what I can relate too. I think that it's about two people that were really close to each other (like a couple or best friends) and they started to fade away. It really hurt one person, but the other just kind of moved on. The hurt person is kind of in awe that the other person moved on so quickly and they're wondering how they did it, and they obviously wish that the person was back in their lives ("wish you were here"). That was just my take on it. You people probably think I'm crazy, but I don't care=] |

I'm a little worried that most of the songs I relate too are about suicide... Anyway, I love this song A LOT and and it always gives me goosebumps, it just feels so emotional and heartfelt. |

haha--I love how almost all of the comments aren't even trying to dissect the meaning of the song, it's just bashing "new Underoath". I happen to love the new Underoath, but everyone has their own opinions:P Anyway, I also think the song is sort of about suicide. It just makes sense to me...anyway, it's one of my favorite Underoath songs^_^ |
