Close, but I'd say the narrator is the one who finds her dead, not the guy coming for her. Rationalizing and then realizing "I can't hear her breathing/Something doesn't seem right." |

Ugh, seriously? If you're not the type of guy to see drug references everywhere don't put them in this song. Your explanations seem rather far fetched. This isn't a song where you need to fill in the blanks like that. |

Pretty straight forward meaning. Someone I met online thinks it fits our relationship. Rather dull though. |

Hmmmm... it's an interesting song, and I definitely like the sound of it. However due to what I'm pretty sure it's about (rape and/or murder) it's probably something I'll avoid listening to in the future. |

Just reading this song I wouldn't necessarily say it's against the electric chair. It's from the perspective of someone about to be killed by it. Most people in that position will be against it and use any logic they can to get out of it. |

I doubt it. Those are mechanical monsters with high tech weapons, where as "The Sentinel" in the song is using throwing knives. |

Tch, the song and the music video tell two different stories. Which is one of the most annoying things I find in music. The song seems to be about a relationship (with the singer being yanked around a bit by their partner but still being true) where as the music video is apparently a girl who runs away from home, gets some sort of male service job it seems and rebels with the other girls. |

It seems a little more complex than just releasing anger. He seems to talk about creating a new life for himself by releasing pent up hate and rage (his demons). Not really sure how that works out except in a place or time where fighting or something would provide status, but a nice song either way. |

Just found this song while looking at random Youtube videos, pretty good. I don't know anything about Wicca so I can't say if it matches with that version of reincarnation. To me it could simply be a comment on human nature. Same thing happening over and over with just a new face. Like you feel trapped and stagnant (rotting) in your life so you try to change it (fly away) and for a while we feel refreshed (I feel rain) then we begin to grow stagnant again and repeat it over again (live again, here forever). |
