The best advice I can give to those that don't believe is this... "It's better to believed than to never believed at all." By not believing you sacrafice any hope of an afterlife and even if there is no God, oh well at least believing in something that didn't exist made you a better person at heart. When I hear this song I think of the presence of God and that no matter what happens in our lives God will always be the constant and will always be here. |

This song is absolutely beautiful. Many times have I listened to it and shed a tear of joy or two. I was a "christian" my entire life and it wasn't till a couple years ago I started to passionately love God and this song is so true.. God makes his presence known to us and he is always reaching out to us and is waiting for us to accept him and passionately love him like he has always loved us. This song means so much to me knowing what my life was like before I found God and knowing what it's been like since I met him. |

Believe it or not John wrote this song about a friend who he would hang out with up in his room shortly after his mother died when he was a small child. This song is so powerful and reminds me of all "those nights" I spent with friends, family, and people I cared about which got me through the darkest/toughest hours of my life. |
