| I read all the thoughts on the meaning of this song, and to me it has a rather different meaning because of the first line "When your on, I swear you're on," I think this is a song about being in love and in a relationship with a drug addict. To me, he's talking about her not calling or going out to score drugs, and for her to give them up for him, and 'Just keep my mind off of thinking how I had you once No, I can't forget that' means he remember a time when she was sober, or when the drugs didn't have such a grasp on her. He is saying he still loves her but doesn't want to cause she's not the person he fell in love with. It reminds me of the song from their new album, 'The drugs or me'. I guess I think of it as a pre-break up song as opposed to a post-break up song. | |
