Yeah, I get what you mean. Kele tends to be very good at writing relationship-themed songs that work for either side, including after he came out. Look at Intimacy: there isn't one song on the whole album that is exclusively one orientation over another. Kele writes relationship-themed songs about love, unmucked with orientation. |

The song is certainly about Catholicism. The references to Saint Peter, Ruling the World, Kings (Protestant break-off), Seas Rising (Exodus), Pillars of Salt (damning of Sodom) all support this. Also the "Roman Catholic Choirs singing" helps this idea too. |
