Amon Amarth – Versus The World Lyrics 17 years ago
Nifelheim was were you came if you didn't die in an honorable battle, or something along the lines of that.

A: Niflheim, not Nifelheim
B: Men who died not in battle went to Hel, not Niflheim

Niflheim = Realm of mist
Hel = Realm of disgraced dead

Amon Amarth – Valhall Awaits Me Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm not sure if I'm correct but, I don't hear "wolf jaw," I hear "wolf skull"
I'm not fully educated on the mythologies and all that, but I know what I hear.

Amon Amarth – Hermod's Ride to Hel - Loke's Treachery Part 1 Lyrics 17 years ago
"This song is about the story Norse myth where Hermod is sent by Odin to retriever Baldr from Hel. When he finally gets there, Hel tells Hermod that he will only release Baldr back to the world of the living if the entire world weeps for him."

That's mostly correct.

The goddess Frigg asks who wishes to win her favor, after Baldr's brother Hodr (blind god) is tricked into killing Baldr by Loke.

Amon Amarth – Cry of The Black Birds Lyrics 17 years ago
Major mistake I've noticed on all the lyrics sites I've been on.

Throw your swords to (the) sky!
Hear the Black Birds cry!
Let them feel your hate!
Show no fear!

It should read "Draw your swords to strike!," not "Throw your swords to (the) sky!"

Also, where it says

Kill the wounded by order of
See the pain in their eyes

I hear "Dead and wounded by all our wrath, see the pain in their eyes."

Another mistake I've noticed, where it says

Over the field and fear the sound
As we hear the ravens cry

It should say "Over the field an eerie sound, as we hear the ravens cry."

Also, octobersnackbar, at least we think of our own comments. You have written the same thing on at least five songs. Think of something original or kindly GTFO k thx bai
