It's 2 hours long but it's actually a really good movie. But yeah. This song is basically stating how messed up our government is haha. After watching Zeitgeist, I completely agree. |

Alright song. All of the songs on this album are just alright. Honestly, this album is a huge disappointment to me. The whole album is about how his true love Annabel was murdered. It's a well written album, and very creative, I just don't really like the sound, especially compared to "On Frail Wings Of Vanity And Wax" which, in my opinion, is their best album of the three. If you are interested in this album I would recommend listening to it online before you purchase it. It's a decent album, but just isn't really what I thought it what be. It's Alesana, just doesn't seem quite Alesana if you know what I mean. |

To me this song is just how hard it is to grow up, especially if you have parents that don't "like" you I guess you could put it. In the beginning he is saying how he doesn't miss his mom, his father doesn't deserve the title as father, it's pretty self explanatory. But at the end, where he says "I will be home in a while, you don't have to say a word. I can't wait to see you smile, wouldn't miss it for the world" I think that's him maybe talking to his kid. I don't know if any of the band members have children, but it seems to make sense. In the beginning he's talking about his hate for his parents and in the end he is talking to his child, and trying to show and give him/her/them the love and attention that he himself never got. |

Great song can't believe no one has commented! Anyway, I think this song is overcoming something that this person has done. It actually seems like a collaboration of 2 of their songs(Your World On Fire + The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions) and this song actually takes direct lyrics from both of those songs. "Your World On Fire" is about some one trying to help some one escape from their own miserable life they've created. "The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions" is about some one trying to talk some one else out of suicide and to realize what a big mistake they would be making. I think this song takes meanings from both of those and also incorporates it's own meaning in there. I think this song is possibly about some one who has ruined their life with *drugs?*("relapse often deals with drugs) and there is only one person they can talk to and he/she is trying to help them. "Bring back hollow reputations. It�s giving me what I desire. And I desire to find the words you need to hear." There he is saying he needs to find the words that the person needs to hear in order to save them. "Kill. Kill. Kill. Your demons. Face. Face. Face. Your fears. Fight. Fight. With no discretion. Die. Die. Die. Alone." Here the guy is telling the other person that they need to kill their demons and face their fears or they will die alone. "I am the messenger; I am the one you trust with your last breath. And you�re missing the point. You�re missing the point of these words. You�ve caused the blood that�s on your hands." He IS the messenger, the messenger being the only person that the one needing help can trust, which is also the "one you trust with your last breath". Basically the only person that can be trusted to help out. Now the "missing the point" part is saying that said person is pretty much ignoring the help and "they caused the blood thats on their hands" by making their mistakes and ignoring. "I hope you see your own life flash before your eyes. And find that point, in your life when you realize. That there�s something that you�ve lost. And something went terribly wrong. With your last breath, until your lungs collapse. Here is basically the guy saying that the person needs to go back and realize all the mistakes they have made in order to try to correct them. "I am the messenger; I am the one you trust with your last breath. And I�m betting you�ll find, I�m betting you�ll find a way to. Why aren�t you trying to escape? You say you need a great purpose I say you need to see what�s coming The messenger part is the same. But the "I�m betting you�ll find, I�m betting you�ll find a way to.." is saying that he knows they will find a way to correct their mistakes. "Why arent you trying to escape?" comes from the song "Your World On Fire" and in that song the guy is saying that he pretty much is giving that person an opportunity to escape from their problems and they refuse to "escape". "You say you need a great purpose I say you need to see what�s coming" That comes from the song "The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions" and the troubled person is thinking about suicide, saying they need "a greater purpose" and the helper is telling them they need to take a look and see whats coming before they make that decision. I think this song is kind of a reassurance. At least that is how I see it. Kind of an apology in a way. He knows he is going to hell and he is basically apologizing and reassuring his mother. She knows he is going to hell and is afraid she will never see him again. He's pretty much saying "Don't worry about me. We all end up in hell anyway!" Thats just how I see it. |

Though this song is about a loved one(be it relative or girlfriend) dying, I think the song is more about the guy. The line "if I died we'd be together" is obviously him thinking about suicide to be with this loved one. The line "could I? Should I?" makes me think he is questioning himself. Could he do that to himself? Should he do it to himself? Overall I think the song is mainly about the man thinking about suicide to be with this loved one and questioning himself on if he should do it or not. Great song, but really sad when you think about it... |

Personally, I think Ronnie leaving ETF is going to help both bands. Now for me, it is hard to decide if that is positive or negative. I think ETF will make it bigger with craig than they ever would have with ronnie, mainly because with craig, their style has gone more mainstream and I think they will have a bigger fan base. But also that could also be a big reason for fan loss. With FBTW, all Ronnies previous fans will come back. But by listening to this song it sounds their style will be more mainstream than ETF was. But I do like it and I think From Behind These Walls will becomce a fairly successful band. Love the song by the way! |

Pretty much the whole album "On Frail Wings Of Vanity And Wax" is based off ancient Greece/Roman stories/myths. Some people think they are just singing stories. I think these songs have a lot more meaning and go a lot deeper than people think. You can think of it as just a story being sang, yes, but if you really think about it these songs can mean a lot! To me this song is suicide. The guy falls in love with a girl. Really really likes her but the girl is suicidal. Now all ive said, its my personal opinion. I read the lyrics, listened to the song many times and thats pretty much what i got out of it. Now with my interpretation(sp?) of the lyrics, this is how i feel about my relationship. My gf is suicidal...just the other day she called and was all upset. She told me she didnt know what to do any more and was just going to end it. She said her arms hurt...im just like what the hell...i had no clue she was like this. She goes to a therapist and she has told me shit shes never told anyone....i really really like her and id hate to have her "Leave me behind"..... |

After reading the lyrics through and listening to the song i figured out what it means. Its about a person who dies(or has a near death expirience and got a glimpse of where they were going) and wants a second chance at life. 'like walking into a dream, so unlike what youve seen' is referring to heaven(or hell but more then likely heaven based on further lyrics). Its like a dream so vivid and like nothing youve ever seen before. 'I see a distant light' you know like when people are dying or dead they see a light? 'But girl this cant be right' Is him saying to a woman in his life that this sint right and he should be there. 'I dont belong here, weve got to move on dear, escape this afterlife' meaning he has to escape and avoid the afterlife. 'A place of hope and no pain, perfect skies with no rain' is heaven. 'fallen into this place, just giving you a small taste' means that they are just giving him a glimpse of his afterlife, a small taste of what its like. 'Got nothing against you and surely I'll miss you This place full of peace and light, and I’d hope you might take me back inside when the time is right' is saying that he will miss her if cant come back and hoes that when he sees her again she will accept him. 'Loved ones back home all crying ’cause they're already missing me' Is pretty self explanatory 'I pray by the grace of God that there's somebody listening Give me a chance to be that person I wanna be' Is saying that he hopes God is listening and he really wants to go back and have a second chance and to change his ways. I first heard this song on our local rock station 93x and i love it. I didnt really know the words till i read them here but i really do love this song. Great band, great song!!! |
