This sounds like a part 3 to the whole confessions thing.....she's decided to take him back and try to work it out, "i told you to leave, but you lied to me When you said that, baby no worries I promise to get us back" kinda enquiring about why she would say that and make it this difficult. comparing the struggle to moving mountains."But I keep climbing and hoping things would change And the sky turns grey, and the water from the rain washes progress away", saying everytime he makes a little progress it all comes falling down, the remainder of the song basically him contemplating whether they should just walk away from it all.....to make a long story short, which i've already made long...the song just reflects the stresses of rebuilding a relationship... |
