| My Chemical Romance – Early Sunsets Over Monroeville Lyrics | 17 years ago |

For all those people who said it isn't from the DotD movie, it is only HALF true; I may be wrong, becuase a song may have multiple meanings. Gerard probably got inspired by it, hence, quoting a line or two from the movie. However, he made up some scenario about his girl getting bitten by a zombie, and in many zombie movies, they can turn into "one of them" (Resident Evil, anyone?). "Gerard" is having a hard time deciding to kill the one he loves; Becuase she is now a zombie. Of course, some people are more into the metaphorical aspect, and I think both definitions are correct. Songs can be both "what you see is what you get" and have a deeper meaning. Anything that makes sense in either those two are right, to me. Whether it's a relationship gone sour for Gerard, or some fictional "zombie movie" song. |

| My Chemical Romance – This Is The Best Day Ever Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Except for the whole blood and scalpel thing, it reminds me of people who are in rehab/temporary asylums who wants to get the fuck out. Except in this case, the "character" Gerard sings about meeting a girl in the emergency room. They both contemplate escaping together. "You left my heart an open wound." I figure the girl died. I guess then, the "person" can still hear the girl in his dreams/mind, remembering the convesations of escaping. |

| Bad Religion – Atomic Garden Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| pretty much like vendis said; except this song smells like fearful emotions of a nuclear war. | |
| Bad Religion – American Jesus Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| the first part is actually claiming the songwriter is proud of america (probably sarcastically?) and the whole "American Jesus" thing as the country itself. "overwhelming millions everyday" possibly means the other countries. later, it also means the struggles of american citizens themselves and the "darker" part of the u.s.a. | |
| Fall Out Boy – Dance, Dance Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I'd like to say I love Fall Out Boy's wit. Anyways, my interpretation is a shy boy at a dance, and he dances with her, despite her having a lover. he becomes infatuated with her, and is nervous. |

| Nine Inch Nails – Wish Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| It is obvious. This song is about how Trent (or someone else, less likely,) trusted someone, but did something to him that made Trent distrust him. This song is a big eff you to that person. Typical angriness | |
| God Module – Telekinetic Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This song is a bit difficult. It talks about how nothing is permanent. Basically, what has happened is there, and you can't pretend it isn't: "strange days a transtional place t think it's time that you remember cut off your ears tear out your eyes some things are gone forever" Yet some other minor themes are drugs, unessecary hatred towards the songwriter, and of course, telekinesis. I wouldn't be surprised if the songwriter himself was high writing this. |
