| Wanna see something funny. Go to the lyrics for "Star Of Bethlehem" and see how many people didn't realize that it had no actual lyrics, even though these lyrics for "True Love" are posted. Star Of Bethlehem was over 2 minutes worth of interlude/intro for this song. i thought it was funny and told everyone they were dumb, not very nice i know, but ehh... whatever :) | |

Yeop Yeop. This is kinda dumb, and all of you are too :) because #7 "Star Of Bethlehem" has no actual lyrics. It is 2:08 (or 2:07, my itunes shows 2:08) worth of interlude. Lyrics don't actually start until the transition to track #8 "True Love" has taken place. congrats for paying attention! but since everyone else has felt the need to comment this song (and ultimately True Love) then i will too. Amazing. the music alone without lyrics provides kind of an entrancing experience. i listen to this thru my ipod on nights i cant sleep and just let my mind wander off until i wake up a few hours later and get pissed that my ear buds are wrapped around my head and i am laying on my ipod. annoying experience that is well worth the hassle. |

Its about the Rapture i think. "And those who knew, braced for the ride The earth itself it came alive to say" Those who knew... not everyone knows im sure, but god says in the bible he will come back and bring everyone with him who are his followers. "When all is said and done, Will we still feel pain inside?" This is a question in regards to what is coming, god will take everyone with him to heaven, yet there are still questions about it, thats normal. i am not a bible thumper and i do not follow as well as i should, but i do know enough and believe enough to relate this song to the events laid out in the bible that god will come. the rapture. |

| ^ in response to my own post. He has to find things out for himself as well, he needs to discover for himself what he is missing, he is obvioulsy not in the same emotional state as she is, girls mature much faster than guys, he knows this, he knows she wants more than what he can offer, he is in love with her, she wants to save him, help him, but he knows that is not a viable option, he has to let her go. | |

by Rocky1867 on 10-09-2008 @ 08:57:16 PM for example his alcohol/suicidal/going nowhere in life/or combination of all. Why suicide? where does this come from, there is no mention of suicide any where in this song. He is telling her he is not the answer to her questions. as people grow, their perspective's change, new questions emerge, questions of life, love, friendships, he doesnt want to hold her back from having the opportunity to ask those questions and find out for herself, not from him, he cant answer everything she wants to know, some things have to be done alone. |

"Bleed for liberty and get machines to rage" its obvious who gave inspiration for the lyrics of this song. |

I think its about being lied to. "No more lies Enough with your rhetoric" someone is telling him something that inst true, they are trying to convince him, persuade him, Rhetoric in a nutshell is the art of being persuasive. thats what ancient sophists did, taught anyone who wanted to learn, how to be persuasive, whether their message was truth or not. but anyways.. "shot your .44 caliber words with aim, might of killed the heart, but left the brain" his heart is broken, but he is smart enough to see the lies (the rhetoric). that's my opinion |

^ Of course its about cheating, he says it himself, infidelity, infidelity. I love how he uses "my hands are tied"... to a bed :) ...to go into the chorus, clever way to string this song along Poor guy musta not been gettin any, i wonder whan she did to make him say "maybe you're to blame" |

| Alesana – Better Luck Next Time, Prince Charming Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I think of this "knight in shining armor/prince charming" as a popped collar abercrombie wearing b!tch, haha :) The shinning armor is the glisten of his fake tanorexic skin. "The wild beasts are ravenous, they will soon devour you" they will only devour you after the roofie is slipped in your drink. Haha, that is just what i thought of upon hearing/reading this song, only cuz i see all sorts of these skycranes around campus, and by skycrane i mean, the biggest 'tool' in the world (lame i know, but kinda funny :) ) |

| Trapt – Who's Going Home With You Tonight Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Yea i agree syntheticextasy, you hear about this sh!t all the time when people go away to college, i was in the frat scene for a year, and you would see girls come over all the time from sororities or wherever talking about their bf's, and by the end of the night they were on some guy's room takin it like a champ, lushes. | |
| Trapt – Black Rose Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this song is about a girl who he could not reach, he tries, shes been hurt, she's damaged goods and he realizes this so he has no choice but to let her be herself, he tries, he gives all he can but she can't find it in herself to accept, scared maybe? kinda like what the 1st 3 comments said. (not that yours is wrong freake) this song is ambiguous, so anyone can take it their own way. i think its about the girl thats hard to get, cuz i was that way with my current gf, took alot to let her get in, i pushed her away quite a bit and for what came to be no reason, but she was persistent and it paid off. | |
