I'd have to agree with superpants1 in that Fillip is one of my least favourite muse songs. As for the lyrics, I don't believe that Bellamy is implying that he is gay, more like a realization that he has feelings for a good friend and as a result, messes up their entire relationship. I'm still trying to figure out the connection between the lyrics and the title, Fillip. Maybe it is the idea of their relationship being rather shortlived - like a snap of a finger. |
