i agree that they got the idea off of Innocent. because i love that song, and its one of my favorite songs. but theres a lot of people that do that. its the same format, but that doesnt mean that they copied. i think different people can relate the each of the songs, and they're both very amazing. |

this song reminds me of my friend. i always tell her she's pretty; but she never listens. she never can accept it. i definitely think its about someone who compliments a girl but she wont accept what he's saying. oohh, such a cleche. i loove this band. they're my favorite band. i dont know why more people dont listen to their music. :] |

i think he does say Icarus; cause i know a lot about greek mythology and it makes sense. the tee shirt reference, led zeppelin put it on their t-shirt. "And I've just fallen back to earth" Icarus flew too close to the sun, and he fell to his death. dunno, just a thought. |

this is honestly one of the best, if not the best, song i've EVER heard. it's written so perfectly and sang with meaning, not just sang. i've been listening to it for about 2 hours straight and i'm still not tired of it, plus the many times i listen to it everday. amazing song. i also agree with what was said previously. it does sound like layers. good perception. |

i think this song is about a breakup. "I am made of a hard skin So I don't know how so much pain still gets in Scars between you and me, my friend A stone thrown, skips across the sea and smokes a child there" >he's talking about how they broke up, but it doesn't seem like the first time because there are "scars between them" and he's throwing the love away when he says he throws the stone and she goes to another guy "So I go down to the sea Where I will breathe air Take back a piece of me I let it bleed out I rage, from within My bones break But when they mend The stone returns again" >so he goes to release his feelings to someone or something (refering to the sea) and to confess he wants her back. and when he thinks he's just healed from the heartbreak, "the stone returns again" and when he says i let it bleed out, it's saying he's pouring out all his hearts feelings. and the song just goes on to say that their relationship just keeps taking away from him and that they're just friends that's just what i get from the song, but there could be other perceptions you could get as well |
