I was at the 5/8/08 Radiohead show in Atlanta [which was incredible, by the by]. After they played Bangers + Mash, Thom said [not verbatim, it's hard to remember exactly what was said when you were as elated as I was at the time to be at such an amazing show!] the song was inspired by a party the band had attended. He said a guy at the party laced all of the food with something. Then Thom and Ed said something about how the guy was a politician [whom both refused to name], and how he brought in strippers and was causing trouble. Take that for what it's worth. ;] |
