The song was written after her experience being on a magazine cover (I think it was Blender?) and having her complexion digitally lightened and her outfit altered digitally to show stomache, even though she was wearing regular clothes. This song made tremendous sense when it first came out, now its just a relic of a past time when her music actually meant something and wasn't just flaky pseudo hip hop. |
