Somehow listening and reading the lyrics to other songs of Otep, I get the idea that Shamaya's father may have been a priest or religious figure. - 'Cause she always links religion to dirty/obscene/sexual favors, hence relating the sexual assaults from her father. But then again, it might just be her personal view on religion and God and how its really hard to believe in such a thing. Just my opinion. |
