okay, basically the same as everyone here. but i just have to comment. on how powerful and beautiful the first verse is. i cry every time i hear it because i feel like theres just NOT ENOUGH songs about people having to give up the ones they love. its always about being broken up with, but breaking up yourself is just as painful. "such pain as this shouldn't have to be experienced, i'm still reling from the loss, still a little bit deliourious" no one ever thinks of the break-ee to feel loss. i was so glad she captured that. |

i agree with teslanichole, "i'll wait will you?" makes me cry every time. this song is just so beautiful, and so perfect for me right now. and the part about never giving up, it's so true. you could just be the one who got away. SO AMAZING. |

wow, i never took this song like that. i always though of it as two people who were in a relationship, and it just couldn't work anymore. but they're still inlove (it's crazy how love stays with me..but i don't want to fight this war) and he just got to be the base of the problems (when it got a little too hot in here.. he was always stepping out for air..) and then she moves on, but theres still all the regret of the past (too late for dignity) and they both just wnt to make it better, hence the apologies. |
