| Kate Bush – Love and Anger Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
the song is a 2 person song first verse and second , first person It lay buried here, it lay deep inside me. It's so deep I don't think that I can Speak about it. It could take me all of my life But it would only take a moment to Tell you what I'm feeling But I don't know if I'm ready yet. You come walking into this room Like you're walking into my arms, What would l do with out you? Take away the love and the anger And a little piece of hope holding us together Looking for a moment that'il never happen Living in the gap between past and future Take away the stone and the timber And a lit tle piece of pope won't hold it together. the person has something to say but can't and it is destroying there relationship and is afraid of losing the other person because there is nothing holding the relationship together third verse, second person If you can`t tell your sister If you can't tell a priest 'Coz it's so deep you don't think that you can Speak about it to anyone................ Can you teil it to your heart? Can you find it in your heart To let go of these feelings L ike a beli to a Southerly wind we could be like two strings beating, Speaking in sympathy................ What would we do without you? Two strings speak m sympathy. the second person want them to let out what is being held back. so they can move forward but knows that they can not. last verse both people Take away the love and the anger And a little piece of hope holding us together Looking for a moment that'Il never happen Living in the gap belween past and future Take away the stone and the timber And a little piece of rope won't hold it together We're building a house of the future together (What would we do without you?) Well, if it's so deep you don't think that you Can speak about it Just remember to reach out and touch the past and the future. Well, if it's so deep you don't think you can speak about it Don't ever think that you can't change the past and the future. You might not, not think so now But just you wait and see-someone will come to help you. there is to much between them and the first person knows that it will not work. the second person knows that things can not be changed but you can get the help to make it work,. Just a thought |

| Dave Matthews Band – Crash Into Me Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Matthews described this song as being about "the worship of women," albeit from a voyeur's perspective, and subsequently does a humorous impression of the woman being watched through the window complaining to the police. He ends by saying that he wrote this song instead of getting arrested. |

| 3 Doors Down – Kryptonite Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The meaning of the lyrics of this song are about a man who is wondering if he is dating the right girl, or if she is the weakness in his life, like how kryptonite was Superman's weakness | |
| Puddle of Mudd – Blurry Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"Blurry" is about a breakup, and cowardice. The song was primarily written about how Wes Scantlin (lead singer) misses his son, Jordan. |

| Līve – Lightning Crashes Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The band dedicated the song to Barbara Lewis, a 19 year-old friend of the band who was killed in 1993 by a drunk driver who was fleeing from the police after a robbery in York, Pennsylvania. Barbara had many of her organs donated including a liver to a 10 month old baby, and the song lyrics reflect how her death enabled others to continue living. | |
| Black Sabbath – Iron Man Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The lyrics concern a champion of humanity who travels Time, presumably to ensure "the future of Mankind" — his original mission was to save our species. We learn that this champion unfortunately encountered a "Great Magnetic Field," turning him into steel and rendering him immobile. He has been in this state for so long that humanity has forgotten his original identity and his original mission. Rather than hailing him as a hero, the human race now regards him as an oddity, little more than an enigmatic statue from another age. The first few lines of the song are the musings of curious passersby, wondering if he's alive or dead, if he can see, if he can move, et cetera. Although the exact nature of his transformation is not elucidated, we know that Iron Man is not solid steel, but is in perhaps an organic/inorganic state, in which he can still perceive the physical world and can still think, but cannot take action. Because humanity has forgotten everything he's done for them in the past, Iron Man has grown increasingly bitter and plans his vengeance upon the ungrateful human race. Evidently, his bizarre state of suspended animation is only temporary — when Iron Man regains his freedom to move, he "kills the people he once saved" in a dreadful manner | |
