"And when I see you I really see you upside down But my brain knows better It picks you up and turns you around Turns you around Turns you around" I think that he's saying that his brain has created a false image of the person he's talking about. That she's really the opposite of what he perceives her as. "If you feel discouraged When there's a lack of color here Please don't worry lover It's really bursting at the seams Absorbing everything The spectrum's A to Z" I think that he's reassuring his lover that if she ever thinks that there is no love in their relationship any more that it's really just beneath the surface, exploding with intensity. "This is fact, not fiction For the first time in years All the girls in every girlie magazine Can't make me feel any less alone I'm reaching for the phone" I think that he's saying that he's realized that he loves her and that nothing can replace his loneliness now that he's lost her. In the next stanza he proceeds to talk about how it's too late for her to take him back and laments how he should have appreciated her before she left. |

Are you serious? This song blows! Jonas Brothers have ridiculously transparent lyrics. Their rhyme scheme is obviously forced. It's not poetic, it's message is retardedly Christian, and the fact that people actually like their music, and particularly this song, gives me no faith in America. The only thing that's selfish are the Jonas Brothers trying to make money buy marketing to stupid people and trying to make it sound like they are righteous, when really they are singing about an imaginary character. |
