what the hell are you even talking about? does any one have any idea what jaybird2 is talking about? i think you tried over analyzing everything...especially not so much the song as the whole band. MGMT is just saying what they feel. They aren't trying to influence any one to do drugs or anything violent. MGMT is more mellow and peaceful and they are definitely breaking away from the rest of the music scene so it's pointless to argue about their desire to influence kids because "they're rockstars" just like everyone else. |

| Xcalibur is right. in an interview pete says the song is for all of those overly aggressive people in mosh pits who try to act all bad ass and make the pits lose meaning. they wanna be the coolest and forget its just for fun. | |
