I will start of by saying that the first time I really heard this song with the words and all was a few days ago. It made me feel so happy when I thought about this wonderful guy I am currently talking too so I agree with those who say that the song is for like lovebirds. It gives me the perfect song to express how I feel inside. I used to feel like I would be alone forever and that no one would ever want me or that I was cold and incapable of being in a relationship but it all turned around with this one guy, it feels soo soo right. We were in the car today and he wanted to dedicate a song to me and when it came time for me to dedicate one to him it was this one without a moments thought. This song expresses the emotion of joy that you can have with one person who is truly right for you and someone who rescues you from how you began to look at your love life. It is a hopeful song and in a way a song to thank someone and to let them know just how much they mean to you :) It's terrific. |

| What I believe this song means is it is about someone, someone really special to him it could be to anyone. And they love and care for them so much but that person is breaking down inside and is not telling him what's wrong. He feels like he is breaking down with her because he cares for her that much probably loves her. The chorus is his calling out for someone to save him from what is going on. The verses and the chorus kind of in my eyes with the meaning I believe are contradicting each other he loves the girl and cares for her so much that he risks his soul to stay with her but the chorus is like saying he needs someone elses help maybe because he doesnt wanna go down under the waves that are crashing over them. He in a way wants a healthy relathionships and someone to help him out of the one he is in now. The lyrics are beautiful especially the chorus im sure everyone can relate to it sometime in their life like for me it is right now and that is why this song is soo wonderful and powerful. | |

| It should be no suprise to anyone who knows about Shirley Manson but she suffered from low self-esteem and self injury. This song I believe represents how she does not feel like the ones who should care for her do. All they give her is medications hoping that it can take care of her because they dont give a damn about her. This song can be easily relatable either the chorus alone, the verses, or the whole thing. Personally the part that stick out in my head is the chorus because I was tearing my self apart on the inside when I was trying to medicate myself by hurting myself because I did feel like no one cared enough. As it turns out I was wrong but that is what the song means to me. It was and will always be awesome and true in a way it sums up how shirley feels and how soo many others do. | |

I can go ahead and try and analyze the whole thing but to tell you what I believe it means to me is(I Came to this conclusion from this verse and the chorus) I want to go for a walk outside I've got nothing to hide I want to go for a walk outside with you All complications will end tonight There's not a person in sight I need to go for a walk outside with you Because I want to thank you for all your time You see you don't even know How much you ease my mind So what I believe it means is a person is not too sure at first whether they want to take this person onto the next level from wherever they are at but then one day they realize that "hey I do like this person alot they have helped me alot and what I want to hide them? No it is not a complicated thing I want to be with them im ready I dont feel complications anymore I just want them" This song is awesome for a situation I am going through which is why I think the song is meaning that so that is why I interpret it that way. It makes sense to me I hope what I said makes sense to others. |
