Anata – Renunciation Lyrics 17 years ago
Another anti-religion song apparently

Anata – Disobedience Pays Lyrics 17 years ago
Not sure here, but this may be another anti-religious statement.

Anata – I Would Dream of Blood Lyrics 17 years ago
A very rare subject covered in real death metal, this song sounds like its about a previous relationship that Schalin had, but it could be another anti-religion song...

Anata – Cold Heart Forged In Hell Lyrics 17 years ago
This is about someone who has become so selfless that they have left no love for themselves, and they pretend to be okay with it, but in reality, this person can't take much more.

Anata – The Conductor's Departure Lyrics 17 years ago
I think this song is another big metaphor for their disdain towards religion, with the conductor used as a metaphor for gods.

Anata – Shackled to Guilt Lyrics 17 years ago
This may be about someone who has let everyone down that depended on them, but they forgive him and still follow him. This may have a religious connotation as well.

Anata – Leaving The Spirit Behind Lyrics 17 years ago
I think this song may be about someone who is living a lie, and they won't admit to it because they know of the consequences that may occur from it.

Anata – Sewerages of the Mind Lyrics 17 years ago
This is a song about someone who has bottled up all of their negative thoughts in their mind, allowing it to "putrify" until all of the negative thoughts become backed up, eventually overflowing when the person finally can't take it anymore and violently expresses their feelings.

Anata – The Great Juggler Lyrics 17 years ago
This song is about trends, and trying to fit in with the crowd, especially towards the younger people. I love how he uses a clown as a metaphor for this. What it's basically saying is that in the real world, nobody cares about how "popular" or "cool" you are, in their eyes, you're just a clown begging for attention.

Anata – The Drowning Lyrics 17 years ago
This song is about someone who has lost the will to live. Rather than dealing with their problems, they just blame themselves, and just give up on life.

Anata – Under The Debris Lyrics 17 years ago
I think this song is about taking control of your own life, and not allowing other people to do so. If you don't, then you will never be able to rely on yourself, and you'll eventually be left on your own, with nobody to reach out to.

Anata – Dance To The Song Of Apathy Lyrics 17 years ago
This song is about individualism, and how it seems to be lost in our age. In order to take the easy way out of life, we simply try to be like everyone else so we can be accepted by everyone, in fear of being scrutinized for our own beliefs.

On another note, I find the lyrics to this song to be pretty funny.

Anata – Complete Demise Lyrics 17 years ago
This one's kind of tough. It sounds like someone who has amnesia who went insane and murdered those he loved, then could not remember what he had done, but it also sounds like there could be another anti-religion message somewhere in there.

Anata – Built On Sand Lyrics 17 years ago
This song seems to be about technology and how rapidly it advances. Technology just seems to be advancing faster and faster, to the point that we will have nothing to remember those who came before us by, hence being "built on sand".

Anata – Better Grieved Than Fooled Lyrics 17 years ago
Another song expressing their dislike towards religion, only this time in a bit more personal light.

Anata – Any Kind Of Magic Or Miracle Lyrics 17 years ago
To those of you who think death metal is all about gore and hating religion, check out this song and prepare to be proven wrong. This song is about the Ch'an Chu, a three legged frog who is the Chinese symbol for wealth and prosperity, and is commonly used in Feng Shui to drive away evil spirits and bring wealth.

Anata – A Problem Yet To Be Solved Lyrics 17 years ago
This one's pretty straightforward. This pretty much details the band's thoughts on religion.

Anata – Entropy Within Lyrics 17 years ago
Actually, I think the real meaning here may be that this process is used as a metaphor for not allowing lies and gossip that enter our minds to take over our thoughts and rule our lives.

Anata – Downward Spiral Into Madness Lyrics 17 years ago
Sounds to me like this song is about a cult religion who feeds off of the people who were manipulated into following it.

That sounds a lot like scientology...

Anata – Entropy Within Lyrics 17 years ago
Entropy is the energy that the body does not use and is thrown out, so this song pretty much describes the process of energy flow.
