| MGMT – Everything's Happenin' So Fast Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| listening to this song I heard something very different. like the second verse a lot. | |
| MGMT – The Youth Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Mgmt was also boo'd alot when they first started playing, back in 2002. They were trying to mix really obnoxious sounds and no one really "got it" This song could be a reflection on how far they've come as well as music. How our musical palette is expanding and now these guys are huge just a few years after they were boo'd at. I think we can all agree that this is "New Age" and we are all changing together through music. "In a couple of years, tides have turned from boos to cheers" |

| MGMT – Weekend Wars Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| After listening to this album a dozen times or so I can, DEF NOT about drugs...nor or any of their songs, unless they are mocking them as we hear in time or pretend. | |
| MGMT – Of Moons, Birds & Monsters Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Taking responsibility for what we've done to the plantet and ourselves. having to face the consequences when the time comes. | |
| MGMT – The Youth Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this song live, like the rest of the set, was wild. Comeplete perfection, honestly. As far as the meanings I think just being young, sleeping around, being carefree, and most importantly changing. | |
| MGMT – 4th Dimensional Transition Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"cuz if they gather a following that doesn't understand their music they will seriously loose thier cool " I dont agree. Their lyrics are sometimes hard to deciepher. For the most part I understand the themes but some elements I feel are very imaginative and most likely are meant to be vague. Either way this is a very talented band. Very New Age, and indeed will become huge. Live...they are priceless. I highly recommend seeing these guys. They jam out and your mind just takes off with it. |

| MGMT – Love Always Remains Lyrics | 17 years ago |

this song is so lovely. I think it is about a place that you went when you were a tot. And it was so perfect to you, yet the actual visualization of it has faded in time. "I know there's trees I know there's sand and I know there's grass, I know it's somewhere in the past." but in the end "love always remains" |

i think its cheap to say this song is about drugs. but it very well may be. I see the relationship aspect of it a bit more esp. in the lines "I'm a curse and i'm a sound, When I open up my mouth, There's a reason I don't win, I don't know how to begin" I absolutely love this band. |

| MGMT – Future Reflections Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is so trippy. There should be much more comments I agree! SITTING IN THE SUNLIGHT! They escaped somewhere and are using primiative resources to survive. | |
