I agree, it's about moving on and letting go. The acoustic guitar on this song is wonderful.<3 |

| Forever the Sickest Kids – That For Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
so okay, i guess it is about his mom. & i see that now, but with the whole "we made the back our bedroom" and "i'm not sure that i really want to touch you but i will only if you ask me to" thing i saw it as being about a guy (or girl). like, he's someone who you have so much fun with and love the hell out of, but he's just not someone you can 100% count on.. and that's why it wouldn't work. |

| Flipsyde – Someday Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Yeah once you read the correct lyrics, it's hard to deny that it's about drugs. | |
| (+44) – Make You Smile Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
It's about a guy and a girl who used to date and really care about each other, but it ended. The guy misses her, wants to see her, wants to talk to her, but he'll only reach out so far because he's scared. Every time he goes to make contact, he pulls back because she doesn't return the favor. He kind of assumes that it's over for her, she doesn't want to see him or talk to him or anything. Really, she's not doing it on purpose. She just didn't see him, couldn't hear him, etc. The chorus is basically saying that they both still care about each other and they don't have any hard feelings. They both miss each other and what they had, but they're too scared to say anything. That's what I got from it. |

^Because Pete Wentz > Shakespeare. Kidding, but among 12 year old girls he IS more well known. |

| The Cab – Vegas Skies Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think it's about completely falling for a girl. "So why don't I make one more wrong turn tonight?" He wants to make the ride home a little longer, he just wants to spend time with her. I think the whole guard thing is saying that the girl he's fallen for has been hurt for her, and he knows he's going to have to wait and go slow, but he knows he can get past those walls because he fell for her and he's not going to give up. He's going to prove to her that they should be together. I think it's a perfectly adorable song. |

| Daphne Loves Derby – I Wish You Knew This Song Was About You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think this is about that feeling when you're with someone, when you both feel like everything is okay. Nobody even has to say anything especially comfort, just being in their arms you feel like everything is going to be alright. Beautiful song. |

| Daphne Loves Derby – No One Is Convinced Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I don't know what this song means, but it has a great sound. It almost sounds like they broke up (or the relationship is failing), and now he finally just wants the other person to be honest. They've got nothing left to lose, and he wants her to stop being so scared/spineless and just say how she feels for once. I don't really know. |
|
| Daphne Loves Derby – Aware, Rust and Repair Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think it's about two people who want to be together, but they can't. Even though it's hard, they think it's better to be apart. I think he's saying they both have to try to be okay with letting go, because it's easier that way. But still, they both wonder and wish. I love this song. |

| Daphne Loves Derby – pollen and salt Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think it's about missing someone, sounds like a break up. I definitely agree that she probably moved away to follow her dreams. I don't think it's a long distance relationship because he says "on coastlines unknown to me" and if they were in a relationship, they'd still be talking and he'd know where she was. But maybe I'm looking to far into it. |

| The Classic Crime – We All Look Elsewhere Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think you can find a Jesus message in just about any song you look for it in, and since many people see The Classic Crime as a Christian band, it's constantly (maybe overly?) searched for. Anyways, I agree with iknowbob94. This sounds like a song about drugs. |

You missed the beginning part..? "Some things never stay same Those things They always They always change" |
|
| The Classic Crime – Headlights Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this is about (like everyone else said) letting go and moving on, and how hard it is to do. | |
| The Classic Crime – Who Needs Air Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think this is about love. He met a girl who's the opposite of him, and just shows him a whole another side to the world. "I never knew the world until I saw through your eyes." She taught him how to enjoy life. It's about being young and in love and enjoying life. He's drowning in love and he's happy, so who needs anything else. |

| Vega Under Fire – The Benefit Show Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
It sounds like he's saying: "I have never stopped The pressure's unbearable And the hour has given up No longer does this feel enough A moment just stands in our way Each second of this moment stands in our way" ..but maybe that's just me? |

| Vega Under Fire – Drop Dead Gorgeous Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I love Vega, they're wonderful. Obviously, this song is about cheating. |
|
| Linkin Park – Leave Out All the Rest Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I don't really think this song is about death/suicide/comas. I think it's someone basically admitting that he's a fuck up. He's done wrong, he's hurt people, he's made bad decisions, but he really isn't a horrible person.. he's just been given a lot of hard times to deal with (I've taken my beating), and hasn't handled them in the best way (I can't be who you are). He's asking this person, obviously someone he really cares about, to look past all his mistakes and all the things he's done wrong. He wants the person to know he's a good man and that he's trying. He's asking for forgiveness, and hoping that the person will remember the good things about him, and look past the bad. But, I mean, the exact meaning of this song is going to be interpreted differently by different people, depending on where they are in their life. The clear message is to look past the bad, forgive people for their mistakes, and remember the happy times. |

| Hit the Lights – Count it! Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think they say.. "Show to show we saw the crowds grow" but I'm not sure. I really like the sound of this song, I think I'll by it so I can hear the full version (I've only heard it on myspace). | |
| Select Start – Digital & True (Feat. Brian Blount Of Vegas Under Fire) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| ..Brian's band is called Vega Under Fire, not Vegas Under Fire. | |
| Select Start – There's One In Every City Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| It's about female fans that completely throw themselves at band members, and pretty bluntly telling her she doesn't mean anything to the band member.. she's just another lay and he'll be on to the next city and next girl by tomorrow. | |
| Mae – Suspension Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I love this song so much. I think it's about falling for someone. That exciting point where you don't know what your future holds, all you know is that you found someone you really like and care about. Basically he's just falling for her and he's happy, and he's feeling like she might feel the same. It's just that feeling of so much potential, and you're excited to be where you are and to see where it goes. |

| All Time Low – Remembering Sunday Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I can't stop listening to this song. It's so powerful and amazing. Juliet Simms was an EXCELLENT addition to the song. To me, it sounds like this guy and this girl had a one night stand and he ended up falling in love with her. He goes around trying find her, to be with her, but she's gone. Personally, I don't think she killed herself. I just think she left, because she's scared and she doesn't believe in love and doesn't want to be with him. She's scared she could actually fall for him, and she knows that will just lead to heartbreak. She's scared to take such a huge risk, so she leaves forever and apologizes for hurting him, but feels like she just needs to forget about him and everything she felt for him. Once he realizes she left, he knows he just has to go home and get over her. Lost love. |

| The Rocket Summer – Run To You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
It definitely sounds like it's about God to me, and I don't even believe in him. It sounds like he's saying that he's strayed, he's messed up and he's sinned, yet God takes him back and forgives him every time. He's leaving his sins behind him, and becoming closer to God, and he's going to try not to sin anymore. "I knew you when I was young, but where am I now that I'm a man?" Sounds like he was close to God as a child, as in he went to church, but then as he grew older he grew away from him and did his own thing. & Now he's coming back to him. |
|
| Train – Calling All Angels Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
To me it sounds like he's saying we practice religion because it gives us hope. There's so many things wrong in the world, we need to believe that it's going to get better, that someones watching out for us. He's calling on the angels to let him know everything's going to be okay, because it sure as hell doesn't seem like it. "I need to know that things are gonna look up" |
