| It's about the TARDIS - the Doctor's TARDIS is an obsolete Type 40, and this is sung from her point of view. | |

These are the lyrics up on the official site: You thrive on dancing in our laps before the more familiar chaps who know the curtain leads to fever We watched a womanizer cry and in the last sip you and I declared we might require a breather I am a truth's true truant and I can feign excitement fluently as solidly as I can busk shock. With well presented merriment and I know all too well I shouldn't break the key off in the lock The tumble splits the frame revealing silk and fits in the fright lined dining room throw a gaze towards them while they feast The days drag their heels when you're not there to crack the whip And the weeks wait to burst like a sachet of brats The old pantomime villain follows my coat and he hides where it hangs and he spies through the slats And meanwhile in the desert's only costume shop the cowls hang and wait to rot away the identities of the willing I'm back to sugar in the night, rocketing shutter doors despite the shop not opening for hours You can itch, flap and whistle. Try to avoid the tock as I scribbled over drivel you were snoring, showing off. The tumble splits the frame revealing silk and fits in the fright lined dining room throw a gaze towards them while they feast. |

part two of the lyrics: If dreams come true Then you and I would make a two And if I had one more I'd dream that I stayed on your floor And while my parents were alive They'd say "Rebecca, now's the time To play the next card to your chest" You thought about me and you said go I thought about that and I said no You couldn't understand why a girl like me Thinks the way I do But I can't stand a boy Who thinks things through like you Let's go back to the beginning Of the nights that I've been regretting Let's go back to the beginning Of the nights I've been regretting Now with you I always thought We'd live behind a front door Right now you don't think that You can live anymore And I'll call and call and call and call And call and call and call Anyone on the phone So tonight I'm not alone Let's go back to the beginning Of the nights that I've been regretting Let's go back to the beginning Of the nights that I've been regretting And you say baby you lied in your song It takes all my courage not to sing along And now my beating heart belongs to my drum I met a boy who grew up in the mountains He really loved God and got me thinking about things Like appreciating everyone that I can call a friend Seeing life as a group of tests to see through to the end But I'm a quitter, I don't think he knew That I'm still thinking about you I'm a quitter and I'm ashamed He said he'd come back for my brain And you say baby you lied in your songs It takes all my courage not to sing along And now my beating heart belongs to my drum I just wanted to see that new Tim Burton movie Or hang around with Laura, Jane, and Suzie And I definitely want to be a rapper But I'm just a northern girl from where nothing really happens And the bones inside my shins are crumbling The bones inside my shins are crumbling The bones inside my shins are crumbling The bones inside my shins are crumbling The bones inside my shins are crumbling It's from all the crunking I've been doing |

| "the funk might fracture your nose" was written on Matt Helders' (of the Arctic Monkeys) bass drum, that's how I found this song. I absolutely love it. | |

another thing ummm- Shouldn't it be "you're mistaken if you're thinking that I haven't been caught cold before"? He kind of swallows half the words there, but I'm pretty sure that's what he's saying. Sorry for this not being in my previous comment, I only just realised! Other than that, great job mate. |

pic 'n' mix are sweets which could be bought in Woolworths before it shut down. so it's pic 'n' mix, not pecan mix. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pick_%27n%27_mix also "found your attention in the form of a gobstopper" would be more likely, because to say that he "flipped [her] attention in the form of a gobstopper" and that it was "all [she] had left and it was going to waste" doesn't make much sense to me? on ITS way to meet you. "its" is a possessive pronoun, and "it's" is the shortened form of "it is". "approaching your THRONE", not thrown. thrown is a verb. "and although I tried STILL not to suffer the indignity of reaction", meaning he was persisting in trying not to react. "uninviting", not uninvited, because it's her quality, if you like, rather than the fact of her being uninvited. These corrections I am certain about. However, I'm still not sure whether it's "the twisted and deranged" or "and twisted and deranged", although I'm more in favour of the second option. Any takers? |

"chattin to barney from [---] with no barnet about how we sure do love it" it's "chatting to Barney from High Barnet with no barnet about how we sure do love it" awesome song. |

| I'm sort of hoping Alex wrote this directed at Alexa Chung. He should ditch her and go for Miles instead. | |
