| I actually quite like these lyrics. I feel like they accomodate a variety of interpretations while not being overly ambigous or trying to be artificially "open to interpretation." There is the possiblity of looking at it from the abuse angle, and there's also my favorite: that it's a sort of joyous what-the-hell -- you know those relationships that are just all fighting but they're really passionate? like you are clashing and clashing and you can't be together or apart, and it can be painful but you go for it! And so forth, I'm sure there are others. | |
