I think I'm wrong in my interpretation but it just reminds me of falling for someone when your not usually into something so serious. "I'm a young one stuck in the thoughts of an old ones head" All of a sudden has gotten so serious and boring and cant enjoy himself while his friends are out partying etc because he cant forget about this person. "when all the other ones were just stirring awake I'm trying to trick myself to fall asleep again" He cant get this person out of his mind and just wishes he could sleep and forget about them maybe. And the chorus, "You put my head in such a flurry, what makes you so special?" As if this persons doing his head in and he cant understand why this person is so different to everyone else to make him feel this way. "You don't take me places We won't sleep for days... We waste it all in the back of a long dark car ...I want to get stuck In your memories. " He's so wrapped up in this person that it doesnt matter what theyre doing together, even if its just a lot of sex. |
