WOW, such an emotional song. It sounds so eerie upon first listen.
I definitely think it's about growing up and discovering that life isn't everything your parents said it would be. Your parents aren't the strong people you admired, but you find it in yourself to "fight their wars" or carry their beliefs. Overall, I just think it means that life gets more difficult as you grow up "But now that I'm older the light doesn't shine as bright" and you can't expect it to be everything "everything that my father said" |

This sounds so cool live. Although I don't believe that it's their best intro, it sounds sick. Usually they just add a bit to the beginning of a song, so it's really awesome that their intro is practically it's own song. They never cease to impress me. |

Seventeen magazine described them as "having the sound of Paramore." Maybe it's just me, but they sound almost entirely different from Paramore, no? They're still decent, though. |

This is such a beautiful song.
To me it sounds like he is losing someone he really loves, and he'd do anything to be with her again. He gets lost in her kiss, and without her he feels as if he'll explode.
That's what I get out of it. |

To me this means that people are just ignoring all the issues. Like, it wasn't a bad thing that John F. Kennedy was assasinated, the guy who did it was just confused, that's all. Also, it's not a bad thing that the worlds heating up, we just can swim for longer now. By "sleeping in" I think it is referring to ignoring everything so you don't have to handle it. |
