The song made much more sense to me when i read from the last line up. I love How Bright eyes is evolving each album is an unexpected and pleasant surprise. They havent lost their essence yet their sound evolved into more synthesized/clash of sounds that make the songs in cassadaga unique. About this song, everytime i listen to it, I picture a woman whos own existence bored her.She died(or metamorphosed idk what Oberst means by other species) In search of something more fullfilling. |
