| Oasis – You've Got The Heart Of A Star Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I like the view that Noel wrote this song for his brother Paul. The brass band in the background does evoke a lot of memories of a northern type-Manchester cultural heritage like the theme tune from Coronation Street which could be a reference to the Gallagher brother's upbringing. The last reference to one day he'll understand why life never kissed him is about destiny. Sometimes are born to be rock n' roll stars, but others are not. There's a reason for that, sometimes we need to go through life to know that. Maybe Paul will be the one to bring Oasis back together by showing the Gallagher brothers how to reconcile. | |
| Oasis – Listen Up Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Amazing song about life and how mundane and usual it could be if we let it take over us. "...life is automatic, and I don't mind being on my own" means that most of us think that we have to grow up, get married, have a family and work until we die. But there are there those who think that life doesn't have to be like this. "sailing down the river alone, gonna find my way back home" means that each of us have a home somewhere, we just have to make sure we know where it is because it might be in the opposite direction we're moving in. This song is for everyone who wants to fight against the normal course of life; life is more about living for others, we have to live for ourselves too! |

| Oasis – Who Feels Love? Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Anyone who likes this song has to listen to their unplugged version of Who Feels Love that they played on BBC Radio 1 in Oct 2003 before SOTSG was released. I think the Familiar to Millions version just doesn't cut it as well though. The song is amazing though, free flowing, experimental, and so true "...there's nothing more to be if you can be the remedy who heals love". Easily my favourite Oasis track! | |
