First of all, Wulfreigns is on motherf**king point. It all makes sense. he says everything out loud so the GAME/the shooter can hear. I think Gemstones is voicing both the COOL and the GAME, which is why it might have confused someone like me. "getting money on my honey"....damn good find sir. I didn't even catch that one. I think the friend was just making light of the COOL's paranoia when he said "if some nigga do kill you in the next few minutes", making it seem like a joke to him, but he was actually very serious about it. DEAD SERIOUS. Lupe needs a video to this...seriously. I can imagine the friend leaving the car door unlocked so the shooter can get in and shooting him inside the car, where the music from the trunk (where the sound bumps) drowns out the sounds of the shots. I didn't catch the SEEDS as in offspring reference...I interpreted it a Marijuana seeds that he gave to his homies, though that could be one too. I also thought it meant the seeded bun. I also missed the one about the feds. I thought "shaker" meant pepper or salt shaker. fishin' for the chips? Fish & Chips, a classic European dish, maybe? Never gave to the needy...it's not like fast food chains to give food for free. | I agree with the above explanation. It shows the ying yang possibilities for choosing to believe in what you think is right and what you get for doing it. Being a drug dealer is generally viewed as a bad thing, but popular, and (evidentially,) yields you respect and money, or so they say. Being respectful, not objectifying women, and being a good person isnt cool to many, and you seem to lead a normal life, and "roughing" it occasionally. I think this is implied irony, and shows the decision process every young person goes through every once in a while: Sell Drugs, get money, be popular OR do the right thing, struggle to get money, women don't show you the same respect (because some reason lots of em seem to like being treated like shit, and I stress the word SOME) | |
