Okay, everyone. I thought I read this on this website, but aparently it was taken down. This song, and I am 100% sure, is about a case in England, I believe, about these two teenagers who, about 15 years ago, kidnapped a toddler from a supermarket, walked him around for a while, brought him to a railroad track, and beat him to death for fun. The "nine months is too long" part refers to the mother grieving over her dead baby, because she had him inside her for nine whole months only to have him be killed early in his life. She "holds him in her arms sometimes" both literally, before he was buried, and figuratively, in her mind after his funeral. As much as I am pro-life, and I would love this to be a song against abortion, it just is not. |
