This song is about Corey seeing some fucking skinhead asshole in the crowed taking liberty's with all the fans. Corey called him out at the show, unfortunately nothing happened, but this song is him elaborating on how badly he wanted to kick the shit out of the guy. And whoever said that all the nonsense in the beginning is them watching poo-poo or shizah porn, you are correct. And it was recorded for the home video. Corey actually used to work at a sex shop and that is where he got the video from. As far as the puking goes, it's Chris really disgusted with what he's watching. And that's all there is to it. Rumors of this song being about Fred Durst are crap. -Anthony- |

In my opinion, this song is about the machine that Slipknot became. Things kind of started spinning out of control for the band and this song seems to be reffering to changes within the members and a new level of maturity being reached. Not following yet? Read on. =) I mean, just look at the lyrics on more time. He's talking about the chaos while touring in Slipknot and being loved/hated by so many. He seems to be speaking on how many of the 'maggots' take his word a little bit to seriously, especially after a homicide that took place years back. The killer and his girlfriend slit the victims throat and when questioned about it, later quoted the song 'Disasterpiece'. The opening lyrics say, 'I'm gonna' slit your throat and fuck the wound', you pretty much get the picture. This song also beckons to another Slipknot song- -the hidden track on the first CD 'Eeyore' in wich Corey refers to himself as 'the great big mouth'. In Three Nil, Taylor says 'a million people line up for miles to see the great big mouth shut up and appologize'. I think overall, Taylor is speaking about Slipknot's criticism for their lyrics being brash to the point of a murder taking place. The climax in the song seems to be saying that when you're on top, you think you can say anything and get away with it and if you don't get away with it, fuck you because there is enough of us to topple a fucking mountain. But when you hit bottom and something makes you realize how badly you've fucked up- -you're not as strong as you once believed. Lets face it, anyone who is a Slipknot fan and is well versed in their carrer knows that Vol. III, lyrically, was a huge mature jump forward for the band. There is hardly any swearing in the lyrics and it seems a completely different approach was taken in writing them. Rather than being angry as usual, Corey talks about a lot of things. I dunno, weather you agree with me or just think I'm talking out of my ass- -but the fact is that Slipknot effin' rocks and we wait in anticipation for the new album. -Anthony- |
